Wow. 300 Sharkticomics updates already. That doesn't even include all the Two and a Half Robots updates I've done, which has its own 150th update coming up. But that's not as big of a number as 300.
Now at this moment I'm only at Comic #290, but number 300 is right around the corner. I've got Comics #291-298 planned out, which include things like a montage of Lords getting their powers taken away and the Legion of Lords, but I'm trying to think of what to do for my 300th update.
I'm at a complete loss at what to do for this, in my opinion, big occassion. I want it to be something either completely funny or completely awesome.
I want it to be like my 200th update. For those of you that can't remember, it involved a good chunk of Shinki-fan readers beating the snot out of Sharkticon because he hated Shinkis, followed by Sharkticon then getting the butt treatment from Fez Findie's Creepyplex. That's the kind of update I want with #300, but I just can't think of anything, especially when I consider there's an actual plot going on.
Although I do have some ideas I'm throwing around in my head. One involves something called the Bugs Bunny Bomb. That probably won't happen, I'd have to have a Bugs Bunny figure to do it. Although there was that one I bought at the flea market.....
Anyways, stay tuned to Sharkticomics for the eventual 300th update! :D

Preview of my Upcoming Photocomic
For a while, I struggled with coming up with ideas for a new photocomic. Now, I have finally made a firm decision in attempting a more comedic comic strip.
The working title for this comic is "Trans+Crazy and Friends." Basically, it's going to be about the daily antics of the toys in my collection -- my Transformers, my Shinkis, and other toys that I have started to collect -- and me as my toy avatar, a custom Shinki that I've been trying to work on for the past few months but should have it finished by the end of March. I cannot guarantee that it will make people laugh, and I have the feeling that it might come across as a bit of a cute, slice-of-life drama at times. It might not be "Fallen's Threat," which I hope to remake in the future, but I'm hoping that it will be a good read and attract a good-size readership when I get started.
Expect "Trans+Crazy and Friends" sometime in April, if not then at least May for sure.

Thoughts on comics told in the first person perspective and link to Lugnut and Strika Plus Inferno
Comics told in the first person perspective have always been interesting to me. Today I wrote a summary for a comic that would be told in the first person half of the time. I won't say anything about it yet other than I'm reaching for a Transformers Mosaic-esque feel. The mosaics really dig into a single character's perspective most of the time. That's what makes them readable in my opinion. The same style of first person perspective was used in IDW's Transformers Animated: The Arrival #1 which may or may not be a coincidence. Anyway The Arrival #1 one was very well written and for me it made "Transform and Roll Out" parts one, two and three seem more complete.
Now for my sitcom comic "Lugnut and Strika Plus Inferno" I'm pretty sure by now everyone on this blog knows the story but here's a brief recap.
Lugnut is Megatron's most loyal servant and because of this his wife Strika feels neglected. So in order to make him jealous she buys a pet at the pet store. This pet happens to be Beast Wars Inferno who is another Megatron's most loyal servant but no one knows this because Inferno stays in Beast Mode and so far doesn't speak. Here's the link to the comic's thread on tfw2005.com http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/transformers-funnies/272487-lugnut-strika-plus-inferno.html#post4193055
I hope you all enjoy it.
